Home Remedies For Knee Pain



Many People suffer from Knee Pain. Two main causes of Knee Pain are Osteoporosis & Arthritis. Common symptoms of Knee Pain are Swelling, Weakness, Stiffness in Knee Area.

There are some home remedies are used to treat the Knee Pain.

Turmeric Powder



Make a paste of 3 teaspoon Turmeric powder & 1 teaspoon Asafoetida (Heeng).
Massage your knee with this paste 2-3 times a day.

Turmeric Milk

Consuming Turmeric milk on regular basis can reduce the Inflammation & Pain.


Garlic

Massaging knee with Garlic oil 2-3 times a day can reduce pain & stiffness.




Carom Seeds

Consuming 1 teaspoon carom seeds (Ajwain) with 1 cup lukewarm water on a regular basis helps in treating knee pain.


Fenugreek Seeds

Prepare a mixture of Fenugreek seed powder & mustard oil & massage it on affected area this helps in reducing knee pain.

Daily Steam Bath

You can take steam bath on a regular basis to reduce pain & stiffness of the knee.


Exercise or Yoga

Knee pain can be treated with some knee stretching exercise.

Yoga postures such as Tadagasana (Pond Pose), Pavanamuktasana (wind-Relieving Pose) & Veerasana (Hero Pose) may also provide relief from knee pain.
