HOME REMEDIES FOR ACNE

Acne is a chronic,inflammatory skin condition that causes spots and pimples, especially on the face, shoulders, back, neck, chest and upper arms.

 Acne develops when sebum (an oily substance that lubricates our hair & skin) & dead skin plugs hair follicles. Bacteria can trigger inflammation & infection resulting in more sever acne.

Aloe Vera

Just apply the Aloe Vera gel on the affected area and leave it to dry & then wash it off with normal water. Aloe Vera has the property of eliminating harmful bacteria, promoting the growth of fresh cells.

Garlic

Take some garlic cloves, smash it, leave it for 10minutes.Now apply this paste directly on to affected area, if you feel a burning sensation on your skin, remove the garlic paste after 10minutes, other wise let it be for 20minutes at least & then wash it off with water.

Apple cider vinegar

Mix apple cider vinegar with water to dilute it's high acidity & apply the solution on your skin using cotton ball. Leave it for few minutes & then rinse it off with cool water.

Neem (Azadirachta indica)

Take some fresh neem leaves & some fresh Tulsi (basil) leaves & grind them together with a little rose water. Apply the paste on the affected area, leave it until it dries, then wash it with water.

Ice

Holding a cube of ice on acne before bed should visibly decrease the inflammation & swelling.

Sandalwood (Santalum album)

Mix sandalwood powder, turmeric & rose water, make a thick paste & apply the paste on affected area leave it until it dries, then wash it with normal water.

Bombax Tree spikes

Bombax tree (Bombax ceiba) is commonly known as cotton tree. Spikes on stem can be ground & applied to face for treatment against acne.
